What We Do
•Track and analyze energy and water usage in county facilities
•Coordinate with building operators to analyze resource usage and develop operational savings strategies
•Conduct facility audits to identify cost effective energy saving solutions
•Create resource optimization action plans for each county facility
•Seek funding for resource optimization projects through grants, rebates and partnerships
•Conduct education and outreach that encourages and supports resource conservation in county facilities
•Collaborate with departments to incorporate resource efficiency at project inception
•Work to reduce waste in county facilities, including the implementation of recycling and green purchasing initiatives
Greener, Leaner and Healthier
In addition to cost savings, resource management initiatives bring the county closer to its sustainability goals, which contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment for everyone.
