At the Steilacoom Terminal

Via a smartphone app

You can set up an account, buy tickets for one or more trips, and view used and unused tickets. The ferry crew will scan tickets right on your phone.

To download, visit your smartphone's app store and search for "Pierce County Ferry Tickets."

Payment Types

The following payment types are accepted:
  • Cash (U.S. currency)
  • Debit or credit cards (Visa or MasterCard only)
  • TRANBEN or commuter vouchers
Please note: In the event the automated ticketing system is out of service, only manually sold single tickets will be available at the Steilacoom Ferry Terminal.

Refund Requests or Purchase Issues

All refund requests or resolution of purchase issues are handled by Pierce County staff. Ticketing personnel at the Steilacoom Terminal do not have the capability to process refund requests or resolve other ticket purchase issues.
