Pierce County hosts second open house public meeting
What will Chambers Creek Regional Park look like in 10 years? Pierce County invites you to help shape the 2017 update to the Chambers Creek Regional Park Master Site Plan. This 930-acre regional park includes 2 miles of saltwater shoreline, 2.5 miles of urban creek canyon, walking trails, soccer fields, open lawns, and breathtaking mountain and Puget Sound views.
Park users, citizens and interested stakeholders are encouraged to attend an open house on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Environmental Services Building, 9850 64th St. W. in University Place, to review and comment on proposed uses and activities that might be developed in the park over the next 10 years. This is the second in a series of public meetings.
The Master Site Plan is used to establish a vision for the park and guide future development at the site. Although much has been completed at the park, there are still decisions to be made on future development.
