FAIR PLAY IN COMMUNITY SPORTS POLICY
For Pierce County Executive Departments

Pierce County complies with the State of Washington's 'Fair Play in Community Sports Act' (Chapter 467, 2009 Laws) that prohibits discrimination against any person in a community athletics program on the basis of sex.

Pierce County specifically prohibits discrimination against any person on the basis of sex in the operation, conduct or administration of its community athletics program for youth or adults.

Effective this 13th day of January 2010.
