The purpose of the Livable Communities Fair is to educate and challenge organizations and citizens to connect and engage in maintaining, improving, and sustaining the livable qualities of our community for today and the future.
The Vision Statement
The vision of the Livable Communities Fair is to provide a venue and create an environment where the Pierce County community can come together to:
- Promote livability values and standards
- Teach one another to value, protect, and enhance Pierce County's livable qualities
- Provide access to resources, experts and interactive education
- Identify and showcase proactive sustainability measures and model livability success
- Cultivate collaborative relationships
- Create momentum to sustain a broader long-term livability effort in Pierce County
