The Foothills Dash is a 5K and 10K Fun Run in Orting to benefit recreation programs for youths.

This fun run/walk take place on The Foothills Trail and is open to people of all ages and ability levels.

The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified.

Courses start and finish at the Orting Eagle Lodge.

The Foothills Trail is paved and provides flat areas and easy slopes.

Check in begins at 7 a.m. Pick up your race number and shirt (if purchased) starting at 7 a.m. at Orting Eagles Lodge.

Registration

Pre-register by February 21 at the Pierce County Parks administrative office in the Lakewood Community Center.

Forms must be received by Feb. 21 to be eligible for the $15.00
pre-registration fee.
All forms received after Feb. 21 will be charged the $20.00 fee.
T-shirts are available to purchase the day of event while supplies last.

Participants who are pre-registered are encouraged to pick up their bib numbers, race bags and t-shirts before race day at the Lakewood Community Center (9112 Lakewood Drive SW, Lakewood WA) on the following days:

March 6 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
March 7 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
March 8 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

5K & 10K Fees:

$15 - Pre-registered by Feb. 21
$10 - Youth 12 & Under
$20 - Day of event

1 Mile and T-shirt Fees:

$5 - 1 mile youth run
$15 - T-shirt (pre-registered)
$15 - T-shirt day of event while supplies last

1 Mile Youth Run

1-mile fun run for youth 12 and under.

Youths need to complete registration form and check in prior to race time. The cost is $5.00 per youth.

T-shirts are not included. No run time will be kept for this 1 mile run. A separate prize drawing will be held for the 1-mile runners.

Awards

Separate divisions for females and males with awards given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each division.

Refreshments & Proceeds

Day of race refreshments will be provided.

All proceeds benefit recreation programs for youths and adults with disabilities.
