The Pierce County Wellness Program provides services that:
  • Focus on health, fitness and wellness issues by promoting positive lifestyle choices among Pierce County employees and their families
  • Stabilize the cost of insurance programs and lower industrial rates
  • Increase employee productivity and performance, reduce stress and enhance the quality of life

  • Fitness Opportunities
    The joining fee was waived for Pierce County employees for the YMCA
  • Flu Vaccinations On-site
    A nurse will visit work sites each fall to administer flu vaccinations
  • Take the Stairs at the County-City Building
    Stairway Art was dedicated Aug. 21, 2008 in the County-City Building west stairwell. The mural features scenes of popular activities and locations around Pierce County. Employees are encouraged to take a healthy step or two or three and enjoy artist Cathy Fields' artwork on display.
