Extreme low tides may delay or cancel some ferry runs Aug 26-Sept 1. Extreme low tides are those zero feet or below. Vehicles with low ground clearance or that are oversize may be asked to take a different sailing.
Runs during these times may be impacted:
Aug 26 - 7:30-10 a.m.
Aug 27 - 8-11 a.m.
Aug 28 - 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Aug 29 - 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Aug 30 - 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Aug 31 - 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Sept 1 - 1-3 p.m.

Vehicles, drivers, and passengers must be in position with tickets 20 minutes prior to departure times or they may not be allowed aboard the ferry.
Passengers departing Ketron Island must make a reservation a minimum of 60 minutes in advance by calling (253) 588-1950.

Extreme low tides
Oversize and low vehicles may be restricted during times of extremely low tides – these are tides of zero feet and below. Vehicles with low-hanging parts (bumpers, hitches, etc.) and extended overhangs from the rear axle (such as recreational vehicles) may be denied access to the ferry during extreme low tides.
