Water Utility Coordinating Committee

The Water Utility Coordinating Committee (WUCC) periodically reviews and advises Pierce County on updating the Coordinated Water System Plan. The group also assesses whether the plan policies are being implemented as anticipated. Recommended revisions to the plan are forwarded to the Washington State Department of Health, the County Executive and County Council for review and adoption.

Committee members include at least one person from: County Council, Planning and Public Works Department, Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, and each water provider with at least 50 connections.

The WUCC is currently in the process of planning the next update to the Coordinated Water System Plan.
