What’s Happening
Engineering: We are beginning the engineering for the project. We will be completing the field surveys of the existing roadways.


Land: All improvements are expected to fit within the existing right-of-way.


Surveying: County surveyors and other staff will be in the areas gathering field data of the project area.

About the Project
Planned improvements for the 2021 Asphalt Overlay Program (CRP 5912) involves resurfacing the existing pavement and upgrading existing curb ramps to meet ADA standards at various locations throughout the County. The locations include:


  • Group 1: 192nd Street East (B Street East to 22nd Avenue East)
  • Group 2: 85th Street East ( McKinley Avenue East to Portland Avenue East)
  • Group 3: Waller Road East (112th Street East to 72nd Street East)
  • Group 4: Golden Given Road East (112th Street East to 72nd Street East
Project Timeline

May 2020 to July 2020Complete field surveys. 


July 2020 to March 2021: Complete engineering, environmental documentation, construction plans, specifications, and estimates.


Summer 2021: Construct improvements.
