Emergency Responder Training

Training is available to First Responders in Pierce County through annual classes that are offered throughout the year. The Homeland Security Region 5 (Pierce County) Training & Exercise Committee also selects classes to specifically meet training needs for the First Responders. The DEM University hosts technical rescue classes.

First Responders include Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, Fire, Healthcare, Law Enforcement, Public Health, Public Works.
