Training is available to First Responders in Pierce County through annual classes that are offered throughout the year. The Homeland Security Region 5 (Pierce County) Training & Exercise Committee also selects classes to specifically meet training needs for the First Responders.
First Responders include Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, Fire, Healthcare, Law Enforcement, Public Health, Public Works.
