Senior center funding available during COVID-19

senior center funding available

An estimated $660,000 of Federal CARES Act funding is available for senior centers in Pierce County who were open prior to COVID-19. The purpose of this funding is to assist senior centers with covering basic expenses required to sustain during COVID-related closures. Senior Centers are a vital resource for older adults to access activities and services to improve their health, well-being and independence. Eligible senior centers must submit applications no later than July 10, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Apply online here.
